Office and Financial Policies

Payment:
Clients are responsible for payment of services rendered. Payment can be made via cash or all major credit cards.

Insurance:
Please note that Jessica is private pay and does not accept insurance.

Upon request, Jessica can provide a receipt for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance provider. Receipts submitted for reimbursement include CPT Code 97140 (Manual Therapy).

Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and is dependent upon your individual insurance plan. Diagnosis codes are not provided unless appropriate documentation has been supplied by a referring healthcare provider.

New Clients Cancellation and Rescheduling:
All new clients are required to pay a $125 deposit to schedule their first appointment, with the remaining balance collected at the time of service. Once a client is established, payment is accepted at the time of service.

New clients may reschedule their initial appointment one time. If a new client chooses not to keep their rescheduled appointment, their original deposit will be refunded minus the 4% credit card processing fee. Any future appointment will require a new booking and a new deposit.

If a new client needs to cancel or reschedule their first session, the deposit is fully refundable (minus a 4% credit card transaction fee) if cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment.

Because I reserve a significant amount of time for new client appointments and often have a waiting list, this policy helps ensure appointment times remain available for clients who are ready to begin care.

Cancellations & Reschedules:
Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice if they need to cancel or reschedule their appointment. This allows enough time for the appointment to be offered to another client. If an appointment is missed or notice is not provided within 24 hours, the full session fee will be charged.

Clients are welcome to have a friend or family member take their appointment if they are unable to attend.

Frequent rescheduling can make it difficult to accommodate other clients who are waiting for care. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping me maintain an efficient schedule for everyone.

Refunds:
For any refundable sessions cancelled with proper notice, a 4% credit card transaction fee will be deducted from the refund. Gratuity/tips are non-refundable.

Perfumes/Cologne:
Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne to the office due to other client’s who may be sensitive to fragrances.

Session Tardiness:
Clients are encouraged to arrive on time so they can enjoy the full benefit of their session. Since appointments conclude at the scheduled time, arriving late may lessen the time available for treatment.

Inclement Weather:
In the event of inclement weather, Jessica generally follows the AISD schedule and will reach out to her clients by email, text, or phone to make alternate arrangements if travel to the office is not possible.

Medical Waiver of Responsibility
All services provided are intended to support general health, relaxation, and overall wellness. Jessica does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for medical conditions. The services offered—including bodywork, somatic practices, restorative exercise, coaching, and spiritual guidance—are not substitutes for professional medical care, and clients are encouraged to consult with their physician or qualified healthcare provider for any medical concerns.

By scheduling a session, clients acknowledge that they are responsible for their own health and well-being and agree to release Jessica from any liability related to their participation in services.

Thank you!
